Most definitely, yes. It is important to me that the client is present during the inspection to be well informed about the findings of the inspection.
Is Radon Gas a Concern?
Radon, an invisible, odorless gas, results from the breakdown of uranium within the earth. This radioactive gas works its way up through the ground and enters homes and offices. The concentration of radon in a home depends on the amount of uranium (producing the radon) in the underlying rocks and soils as well as the routes available for its passage into the home and the rate of exchange between indoor and outdoor air.
Colorado homes are particularly susceptible to Radon Gas, especially in basement and crawlspaces.
Melissa will deploy continuous read monitors approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in a least populated area of the property for 48 to 96 hours.
The results are downloaded and included in the Inspection Report after the monitor is retrieved.
